We stock a range of Perennial flowering plants from Shrubs, to herbaceous alongside those with storage organs (Bulbs, Rhizomes, Tubers & Corms).
Our selection of Herbaceous and Bulbous Perennials are often primarily guided by season of interest, alongside the availability from our growers. It is best to enquire with our Team regarding any items not currently in stock, and advice will be given where possible regarding likelihood and seasonality of the desired item.
There are thousands of species of herbaceous perennials and ten’s of thousands of varieties, so unfortunately we cannot stock them all, we do our best to provide a reasonable collection that should keep colour in your garden year round.
Make the most of your Borders.
Whether your passion be for Flower or Foliage, herbaceous perennials offer an abundance of beauty and variety to suit any garden. These versatile plants not only provide long-lasting blooms and vibrant colour but also add texture and interest through their foliage, making them a valuable asset in any border.
It is best recommended when planning and planting that your soil is well prepared. Enriching the soil with Organic Matter, such as manure, will greatly improve your soils structure and health; improving both water retention (for sandy soils) and drainage (for clay soils).
When selecting your herbaceous plants, best practise is to plant in odd numbers, 3’s, 5’s & 7’s as this will create visual balance across your borders. There can be exceptions to this rule as some plants can create a focal point individually, (ie, Cynara cardunculus) by account of there size.
